The brief
A young family wanted to secure their first home and leave renting behind. After months of searching on their own they were frustrated and disappointed. Although they were local, they were unfamiliar with the ins and outs of buying property in Australia and needed someone to guide them through each step. Their budget was tight for the area, and we were honest and realistic with them from the first meeting about what was achievable.
Our approach
We took the time to understand their budget, where they wanted to buy and the kind of home they were hoping for. A particularly strong relationship with one sales agent meant we were the only buyers to walk through a home that never reached the open market. We explained every stage of the process as we went, so they always understood what was happening and why.
The outcome
In three weeks they had a house with a view and all the character they had hoped for, along with some savings they had never expected. They went on to refer their friends to us, and we purchased for them too soon after, in a similar area. Happy all round.
